This is a 24″ x 36″ oil painting. Painted from high on top of the Temple of the Sun, this view of the Mayan Ruins at Palenque, Mexico captures most of the main structures of the sight. “The Palace” is to the right with the high tower in the center of the courtyard. To the distant left is a massive temple that holds some very strange drawing on the walls of the rooms inside. They resemble a spaceman. In the left foreground is the temple of the Inscriptions.
